First-time setup tutorial
Video coming soon

First-time setup in 5 minutes

Unbox to first cold session, the right way.

Read the steps
  1. Freeze 4–6 sealed water bottles in advance (better than loose ice).
  2. Load the bottles, then add cold tap water between MIN and MAX.
  3. Click both hose couplings into the tank and pad until they lock.
  4. Plug in, power on, and run Max flow 1–2 minutes to purge air.
  5. Set your timer and flow — you're done.
How to wrap the cold pad

How to wrap the cold pad correctly

Knee, leg, arm & hand — snug, never tight.

Read the steps
  1. Knee: center the pad on the kneecap, hose pointing up or sideways.
  2. Strap above and below the joint; the pad must sit flat, no kinks.
  3. Arm or hand: fold the pad to follow the joint and support the hose.
  4. Two-finger rule: you should slide two fingers under any strap.
  5. Tingling fingertips or color change? Loosen immediately.

Mastering the timer & flow speeds

Set-and-forget cycles for day and night.

Read the steps
  1. Timer-on (10–180 min) = how long each cooling cycle runs.
  2. Timer-off (10–60 min) = the rest period before it auto-restarts.
  3. Pick from 4 flow speeds; higher = stronger, colder circulation.
  4. Good first setting: 20 min on / 20 min off at level 2.
  5. For overnight use, follow your healthcare provider's protocol.

Getting the full 12 hours of cold

Ice strategy for all-day (or all-night) sessions.

Read the steps
  1. Use fully frozen bottles — they melt slower than ice cubes.
  2. Pre-chill the water you add; never use warm tap water.
  3. Keep the lid closed and the tank out of direct sun.
  4. Lower flow speeds preserve cold longer than Max.
  5. For 12-hour runs, swap in fresh bottles at the halfway point if needed.
Cleaning and storage tutorial

Cleaning & storing your machine

Keep the circuit fresh between uses.

Read the steps
  1. Weekly: drain the tank, pad and hose completely.
  2. Rinse-cycle 2 minutes with clean water (add a splash of white vinegar for deep cleans), then drain.
  3. Wipe the tank and lid dry; leave the lid open until fully dry.
  4. Coil the hose loosely and store the pad flat.
  5. Never machine-wash the pad or submerge the lid/pump.
Troubleshooting tutorial

Fixing weak flow & warm pads

The two most common issues, solved fast.

Read the steps
  1. Pad not cold? Purge air: run Max flow 2 min with the tank below the pad.
  2. Re-click both couplings — a half-seated coupling blocks flow.
  3. Check water is between MIN/MAX and ice hasn't fully melted.
  4. Straighten the hose; sharp bends choke circulation.
  5. Still stuck? See the manual's troubleshooting table or contact us.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Using your CM06
How long does the cold last on one fill?

The 9-quart insulated reservoir keeps water cold for up to 12 hours using 4–6 frozen water bottles — enough to set it before bed and wake to uninterrupted cold therapy.

Which body parts does it fit?

The universal pad with adjustable velcro is designed for the knee, leg, arm and hand — ideal for knee replacement recovery, sports injuries and everyday soreness.

Is it quiet enough to sleep next to?

Yes. The ultra-quiet motor runs at low noise, and medical-grade tubing with a leakproof pad keeps everything dry and silent while you rest, work or sleep.

Can I control the cooling cycles?

Absolutely. Set timer-on from 10–180 minutes, timer-off from 10–60 minutes, and pick from 4 flow speeds. The machine cycles automatically to help prevent overcooling.

Should I use ice cubes or frozen bottles?

Frozen bottles are recommended: they last longer, keep melted ice out of the pad circuit, and are easy to refreeze in rotation. Ice cubes work fine for shorter sessions.

How long should each cold session be?

A common comfort pattern is 20–30 minutes on with a rest in between, checking your skin regularly. If you're recovering from surgery or injury, follow the duration and frequency your healthcare provider prescribes — their protocol always takes priority.

Care & troubleshooting
The pump runs but the pad isn't getting cold — what do I check?

Ninety percent of the time it's trapped air or a half-seated coupling. Run Max flow for 2 minutes with the tank below the pad, re-click both hose couplings until they lock, and confirm the water level sits between MIN and MAX with enough ice. The manual has a full troubleshooting table.

How do I clean the machine?

Weekly (or before any multi-day pause): drain everything, run a 2-minute rinse cycle with clean water — add a splash of white vinegar for a deep clean — then drain and air-dry with the lid open. Never machine-wash the pad or submerge the lid/pump assembly.

Is condensation on the hose or pad normal?

Yes, in humid rooms the cold surfaces will "sweat" a little — it's condensation from the air, not a leak. Put a towel under the pad if it bothers you. Actual dripping from a coupling or the pad itself should be checked — see the troubleshooting guide or contact us.

Orders, warranty & parts
What warranty does the CM06 come with?

A 12-month limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship, on top of Amazon's standard 30-day return window. Register your product to speed up any future claim.

A part arrived damaged or is missing — do I return the whole unit?

No. Email us or use the contact form with your order ID and a photo — we ship replacement parts (cold pad, hose, adapter) directly, usually without any return.

What if I run into a problem with my machine?

We're here to help. Submit the contact form or email support@lifebushealth.com — setup questions, missing parts, or anything not working as expected — and we'll get back to you within 1 business day.
